Stadar AI is a predictive student wellbeing and mental health intelligence platform designed to support educational institutions through data-driven insights, trend analysis, risk identification, and wellbeing intelligence.

Stadar AI is intended to support human decision-making and institutional well-being initiatives.

The Services do not replace professional judgment, counselling services, healthcare services, or institutional responsibilities.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Services only if:

You have legal authority to enter into these Terms;
You are authorized by your educational institution or organization;
Your use complies with applicable laws and regulations.

If you are using the Services on behalf of an institution, organization, or legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Account Registration

Certain features require account registration.

Users are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials;
Restricting unauthorized access to accounts;
Promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access;
Ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.

You remain responsible for activities occurring under your account.

4. Institutional Responsibility

Educational institutions remain solely responsible for:

Student welfare decisions;
Counselling decisions;
Academic decisions;
Disciplinary decisions;
Intervention strategies;
Resource allocation decisions;
Compliance with applicable educational and privacy laws.

Stadar AI provides information and insights only.

Institutions retain full responsibility for decisions affecting students and staff.

5. No Medical Services

Stadar AI is not:

A healthcare provider;
A medical device;
A therapist;
A psychologist;
A psychiatrist;
A counselling service;
An emergency response service.

The Services do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, crisis intervention, or emergency assistance.

Users experiencing a mental health emergency should immediately contact emergency services, a qualified healthcare professional, or local crisis support resources.

6. Human Oversight Requirement

The Services are designed to support human decision-making.

All alerts, insights, recommendations, indicators, scores, reports, and analyses generated by the platform must be reviewed by qualified human personnel.

No action affecting an individual should be based solely on automated outputs.

Users are responsible for exercising independent judgment when reviewing platform-generated information.

7. AI-Generated Outputs

The platform may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and automated processing.

AI-generated outputs:

May be incomplete;
May contain inaccuracies;
May not reflect all relevant circumstances;

Stadar AI makes no guarantee regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of AI-generated outputs.

8. Acceptable Use

Interfere with service availability;
Reverse engineer platform components except where legally permitted;

9. Data Ownership

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

Institutions retain ownership of their data.
Users retain rights to information they provide.
Stadar AI retains ownership of the platform, software, algorithms, interfaces, and intellectual property.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of Stadar AI technology to customers or users.

10. License to Use the Services

Subject to these Terms, Stadar AI grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for authorized internal purposes.

This license does not permit:

Resale;
Redistribution;
Commercial exploitation of the platform;
Creation of derivative works;
Unauthorized copying.

11. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Services remain the exclusive property of Stadar AI and its licensors.

Software
Source code
Algorithms
Models
Reports
Dashboards
Documentation
Branding
Trademarks

Except as expressly permitted, no rights are granted under these Terms.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by the Stadar AI Privacy Policy.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that information may be collected, processed, and used in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

13. Security

Users must:

Follow institutional security policies;
Report suspected security incidents;

Stadar AI maintains security measures but cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Service Availability

The Services may be unavailable due to:

STADAR AI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING:

MERCHANTABILITY;
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE;
NON-INFRINGEMENT;
ACCURACY;
RELIABILITY;
AVAILABILITY.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

17. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STADAR AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

INDIRECT DAMAGES;
INCIDENTAL DAMAGES;
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES;
SPECIAL DAMAGES;
LOSS OF DATA;
LOSS OF PROFITS;
LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES;
REPUTATIONAL DAMAGE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL STADAR AI’S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID FOR THE SERVICES DURING THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

18. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Stadar AI, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and partners from claims arising out of:

Violation of these Terms;
Misuse of the Services;
Violation of applicable laws;
Decisions made based on platform outputs;
Unauthorized access resulting from your actions.

19. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

These Terms are violated;
Security risks arise;
Required by law;
Necessary to protect users, institutions, or the platform.

Upon termination, access rights immediately cease.

20. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.

Updated versions will be published on our website.

Continued use of the Services following publication of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
